| To Use | 1) Assemble jig, leaving knobs untightened.
2) Lay your workpiece in jig. 3) Spacer blocks go between the workpiece and the inner walls of jig. 4) Adjust the jig for a snug fit to the spacer blocks/workpiece and tighten knobs. 5) Secure the jig to your workbench. 6) Install the router bit of your choice to the desired depth. For depths beyond 3/16” deep, do multiple passes. 7) Move the router in the appropriate (*clockwise) direction. The base should ride against the interior wall of the jig, using normal pressure to avoid any bowing or bending. 8) After completing the first pass, lower bit if needed for additional depth. It can be good practice to take a final shallow “skimcut” to remove any burn marks and to provide a smooth finish.
