Description
The Patented StopLossBags® pouches allow you to preserve the fresh off-the-shelf quality of fine finishes. Formulated for Oil, water and alcohol-based liquids, the specially formulated 3-ply construction helps prevent loss of solvents while a gas barrier inhibits oxygen penetration into the finish. Each bag holds 1.05 quarts or 1.0 liters.
The patented Steward™ StopLossBags® pouches are specifically designed for thicker finishes, such as paint.
If you already have the StopLossBags paint kit and need extra bags for additional paints, this is one (1) StopLossBags Paint Bag w/caps only.
If you need a kit that includes a 4-pack of StopLossBags®, Funnel, 4 extra caps and a filler clip, it is sold separately (#690104).

Capacity:
- Each bag holds 1.05 quarts or 1.0 liters.
Material Compatibility:
- StopLossBags® are designed for oil, water, and alcohol-based liquids. You can use them with paints, stains, varnishes, glues, mineral spirits, darkroom chemicals, alcohols, water/ice, shampoo, etc.
- Do Not use StopLossBags® with liquids containing: acetone, acids, benzene, lacquer, lacquer thinner, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), methyl isobutyl ketone (MIK), toluene, xylene, some alcohols (Butyl, Isobutanol, Furturyl, Propyl). Zinsser® and some paint thinners may contain one or more of these solvents.
- We recommend cleaning bags that have stored fine finishes with Mineral Spirits.
