  • Protection. The guard provides protection around the blade and collects above-table dust, reducing the chance of injury and minimizing the amount of airborne carcinogenic dust.
  • Safety. Anti-kickback pawls reduce the likelihood of kickback and independent lateral slides minimize blade exposure. The low profile allows for cuts as narrow as 3/4 of an inch.
  • Dust Collection. The guard is compatible (and required) with the SawStop Overarm Dust Collection System. It can also attach directly to the customer’s dust collection system.
  • Operation. Tool-free, one lever operation allows the user to quickly and easily switch between blade guard and riving knife when making different kinds of cuts.
  • Compatibility. The guard is standard on all 3 HP and higher cast iron saws. It is an option on the 1.75 HP Professional Cabinet Saws and Contractor Saws, compatible with SawStop Overarm Dust Collection.
