  • Plane Irons. Use the wider jaws. For 25° angle project the iron 2” from the edge of the jaws. For 30° project it 1 -1/2” from the edge of the jaws.
  • Chisels. For wood chisels, use the narrow jaws. For 25° angle project the iron 1 – 5/8” from the edge of the jaws. For 30° project it 1 – 3/16” from the edge of the jaws.
