Blade Details. This is Flexcut Fixed Handle Mallet Gouge-MC309 #89x 1/2” (12MM).
Blade. All Flexcut blades are made with exceptionally hard high carbon spring steel that has been sharpened and honed to a razor edge.
Handle. Made from Ash hardwood, the stout handle can withstand the impact of a mallet. This is ideal when carving dense woods, or when deep cuts are required. The ergonomic ash handle is curved for comfort, allowing for long periods of carving without hand fatigue. A brushed brass ferrule joins the handle to the blade.
