Description
Quartersawn White Oak Shorts are approximately 13/16″-thick x 4-1/2″ to 7-1/2″ wide x 24″ long. They are available in one, two, and three board foot quantities.
Quartersawn White Oak is a specialty hardwood that’s a warm brownish-tan color. This species features very straight grain on the face, with small to large flecks resulting from how the lumber is cut from the tree. The flecks shine brightly when a finish and/or stain is applied. Quartersawn red oak is relatively easy to cut, sand, and finish.
