Description
Goibao shorts are approximately 13/16″-thick x 3-1/2″ to 7-1/2″ wide x 24″ long. They are available in one, two, and three board foot quantities, and come in multiple pieces.
Goibao gets its common name from the yellow color of its heartwood when freshly cut. The grain is tight and relatively hard. It machines well, but can burn if the feed rate is too fast. It glues and finishes well.
