Description
Bacon Padauk (Marbled Padauk) is a unique type of figured lumber. Figured padauk refers to the swirling, irregularly shaped patterns that create a three-dimensional effect on the wood. Marble figure occurs when the heartwood and sapwood of padauk vary significantly. This results in a two or three tone effect that can resemble a bacon-like appearance.
